Ca sĩ (S)Trong Trọng Hiếu lần đầu thử nghiệm âm nhạc thập niên 2000 qua MV "Kho báu", tạo sự khác biệt so với hình ảnh sôi động.
The track is a nostalgic pop ballad, composed and produced by Hứa Kim Tuyền and TDK. Its lyrics reflect the innocent emotions of a first love during school days.
The music video opens with the female lead stumbling upon an old CD player in a storage box, triggering memories of her high school classmate, portrayed by Trọng Hiếu. They once shared the same class and created many cherished memories together. In the final scene, she returns to reality, realizing that her former love is no longer by her side.
Through the song, Trọng Hiếu conveys the message: “The treasures in life are sometimes not tangible things, but fleeting moments that touch the heart. When we slow down and look back on beautiful memories, every wound can be healed.”

Musician Hứa Kim Tuyền shared that he encouraged Trọng Hiếu to blend his Western musical strengths with the Y2K influences of Vietnam’s Làn Sóng Xanh era from the 2000s. Together, they created a soft arrangement using simple instruments, aiming to evoke a sense of nostalgia.
The production team chose familiar settings to bring warmth and relatability to the MV, featuring visuals such as school uniforms, bicycles, and yearbook-style photos. On YouTube, the music video received positive feedback, with many viewers expressing emotional connections and reminiscing about their youth.
This project marks the beginning of (S)Trong Trọng Hiếu’s 10th anniversary in music.
He plans to release an EP of the same name in September, followed by a live show in October.
In 2024, Trọng Hiếu gained public attention through the music competition Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai, reaching the finals as part of the Gia Tộc Toàn Năng team. Over recent months, he has participated in a series of successful concerts with fellow artists. “The show gave me new inspiration and creativity. In the coming time, I want to bring even more surprises to the audience,” he said.
Trọng Hiếu, 33, was raised in Germany before returning to Vietnam, where he won Vietnam Idol in 2015. His notable songs include Con Đường Tôi, I’m Sorry Babe (by Khắc Hưng), Anh Đổ Rồi Đấy, and Vẽ Thế Giới (self-composed). In March 2023, he competed in the Eurovision Song Contest and placed third.
At the end of 2024, he added an “S” to his stage name — becoming (S)Trong Trọng Hiếu — to highlight both his Vietnamese roots and his strong, resilient spirit, as reflected in the word “Strong.”
